I spend my time talking with strangers in cities. I take their photographs sometimes. Here is my documentary photography from my long walks in London and other large cities. Mett preachers to footy fans. My photojournalism comes from my own experiences walking the streets of London and other cities. I also regularly document people for Future Studios as well as for other obvs-docs, providing photos when also shooting as a DoP Producer Director.
HANGING WITH HASIDICS
Photojournalist Photography of the Hasidic Jewish community in Crown Heights Brooklyn. I was lucky to meet Yoni Katz, a Rabbi from Brooklyn who welcomes gentiles to his neighbourhood. I met him in 2019 and I was reunited with him again in 2022 to follow up our first viral video. I directed Hanging With Hasidics, a series of videos documenting Jewish life in New York. The great thing about being a photographer is that you get behind closed doors. Let me show you behind them too. You can see the video I filmed on my documentary videographer page.

A series of photos of Jimmy, a South Londoner from Scotland, who spent time travelling the world in the Merchant Navy before finding his home in SE17. Taken on Medium Format Film. 2023.
Street photography and portait photography from around the world
I use Medium Format film photography to capture the places I visit - I walk a lot, on long routes around city streets, with my medium format camera. I spend way too much money on film.
